Our Story Begins In 1970, Ipoh Perak
Teik Kee started off as a local homemade fishball soup stall located in the largest market at Ipoh, Perak during 1970 until 1982.
After that, the owner for the business shifted to Subang Jaya, Selangor and restart the business in 1982 until now 2019.
The restart of the business had given a chance for Mr. Teh Tiam Khoon to expand his business with a new idea where matching fishball with noodles together.
The name Teik Kee derives from the family that run the business,
Teh Tiam Khoon as the father and Teh Teik Chiew is the son of the owner. It is all started off as a hobby where the owner of the business Mr. Teh Tiam Khoon love to go fishing and bringing home fishes to eat for lunch and dinner. Mr. Teh Tiam Khoon started to think if there is a way to eat fish meat without having trouble taking out bones one by one. He then started to develop and create his own recipe for fishball so that people will taste the delicious texture of fish meat and noodles.
